What do you need most in this moment?
Perhaps you have easy answers to this question; perhaps the answers are more complex; or perhaps you are unsure of how to even begin thinking about this question. My hope is to meet you where you are. If you need assistance in exploring this question or other difficult questions/issues in your life, I would be honored to lead you on this journey. Connection, trust, and hope are some key elements in building therapeutic rapport. What I bring to sessions is patience, openness, and understanding while allowing space for feedback and vulnerability. Life brings many challenges and together we can set accessible goals for long-term success. I can help you to identify coping skills to manage distress, teach you methods to better regulate your emotions, and provide a space where you will feel heard and validated.
Using principles from ACT, DBT, trauma-informed CBT, motivational interviewing, harm reduction, and other modalities fitting your needs, we can find the best method to work towards your therapy goals. In session, we can process your emotions, relationships, identity, body and lived experiences in order to live a more fulfilling life. If you find it difficult to define parts of your life and experiences, I can help guide you towards discovering how to live your most authentic life.
I am interested in working with young adults, adults, couples and families. I have additional experience in career counseling, eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, depression, and personality disorders.
